This scheme was started by the government of Karnataka state. In this scheme, the government is going to provide free rice to the poor family every month. According to the government, the beneficiary present Anna Bhagya Scheme receives 5 kg of rice and will now go on to receive 10 kg of rice per month per person. Anna Bhagya Scheme is also known as the Karnataka Free Rice Distribution Scheme.
Only Below Poverty Line families can take advantage of this scheme. This scheme will get started in the state from 1st July 2023. To take the benefits of this scheme you must have a BPL card. With the help of this scheme, poor people will get free rice for the whole month.
